DiEM Voice Special: Why are you so afraid of Julian Assange? Feat. Davide Dormino and Angela Richter

To coincide with Julian Assange’s birthday, and as part of the Raise your Voice for Assange artwork campaign, DiEM Voice is organising a very special DiEM TV episode!

This exclusive episode will feature artists such as Davide Dormino and Angela Richter, who have been fighting over the years for Assange’s freedom, and for the future of the free press.

They will discuss how the silencing of whistle-blowers, including cancel culture, hinders progressive change, and how art can have an impact in the defence of freedom of expression.

About DiEM TV:

Switch on the television from the future! We call it TV because we like retro-futurism. But it’s much more than TV. In times of global pandemics, DiEM TV is special online and completely free series to understand the current crisis and offer tools and hope to get out of it stronger and more united in building the World After Coronavirus.

I put it a different way Angela: people will form an opinion no matter how little they know. With more information, we might in the end agree. Thanks everyone for sharing your insights and your art.

Here is a better question. Why is DiEM25 supporting the Covid fraud ?
As you are supporting the depopulation agenda why would DiEM25 give a shit about one more dead body ? Why?

The Australian government and its flunkies are a disgrace,Assange isn't even an issue here.It is an outrage to me that Britain and the USA are still our overlords and no one seems to care.We Australians are pathetic sheep watching the covid-crime "statistics" with our masks on quaking in fear in the glow of the MSM's latest pronouncements.#FreeAssange!!!

Only the misanthropic savages in expensive suits, persecuting Assange, fear him.
Journalism ~ an anathema to corporate funded media/politics/govt.

Davide's sculpture to support and honor Assange, Snowden and Manning has been a very brilliant artistic idea. Adding a chair for people to raise their voices and make complaints has seemed like an extremely smart move👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼#FreeAssange

His infant children in Australia grew up without father. Spare a thought for these kids, especially we just fount out few days ago there were hundreds & even thousands Native American Children were stolen from their parents by the Canadian regime that colluded with the Catholic church to genocide their culture.
The US/UK & Australia regimes today steal fathers, mothers from children while singing Human rights, Rule of Law, Freedom. There have been crimes against humanity committed by those US/UK, Australia regimes going on. No one's held accountable.
According to the UN, there were more than 500,000 Iraqi children died as a consequence of the US economic embargo. "Was it worth" asked the 60 Minutes, USA. "Yes, looing back it's regrettable but worth it" answered, the fmr State Sec. Madeleine Albright. All based on falsified evidence, from Nayirah congressional testimony, to the yellow cake, weapons of mass destruction, Saddam Hussen linked to Al Qaeda. Oops, faked evidence. hundred thousands died in Middle East, Nth Africa thousands perished their lives at the sea while trying to escape the killing fields in their countries as the aftermath of the US & its deputy sheriffs invasion.

When I ask people here in Sydney, Australia about Julian Assange I am surprised by their answers; some say that he was stupid, and when I asked why, they cannot answer. I realised that many have no idea of who he is. I blame the lack of media information and of course the fear of saying anything that might upset the U S . The Journalists have the added fear of losing their jobs and livelihoods. Ignorance is the best way of keeping the public subdued and controlled.

2nd comment from me and it is to Angela. I too am disappointed with theatre. I lost thousands of dollars producing and directing my play against the Iraq invasion. And I used Picasso's Gournica. Sure it was critically acclaimed, but also attacked for different reasons, like for instance the sets. Australia was one of only three characters resposible for the murder of an estimated one million people. My play, and over 200.000 people marching against the war did not stop it from happening. Da Da movement the same!

Power always comes with insecurity of loosing it. So called many powerful countries are suffering from chronic insecurity and they must succumb to that .

We cannot fix our problems with the same minds that created them in the first place. We need a "higher power" to step in & do it for us.

41:12 I was confused here until I realized the original was in English, then voiced over in German, then again voiced over in English. 😂
